During the red maple or sakura season
From 18 years old
Distinctive and inimitable, one of the most mysterious countries in the world. Yes, it's the land of the rising sun – Japan.

A country that lives by its own rules: traditions are sacred here, and technology is the future that has already arrived. This is a place where the bustling traffic of Tokyo coexists with the world of geishas and tea ceremonies, Michelin-starred restaurants with gourmet street food, true samurai with anime districts, and bullet trains take you to ancient cities. This is a country for those who seek inspiration, depth, and meaning.

For years, we've been collecting the best of what Japan has to offer, and we're ready to share it with you. It's a truly eclectic journey, in the spirit of White Garnet, where you can do it all: explore vibrant Tokyo and savor the tranquility of Kyoto's ancient temples, dine with a real geisha and visit the Museum of the Future, feed deer in Nara and meet snow monkeys, spend time in Japan's finest hotel with a view of Mount Fuji from every room, and retreat to a monastery to discover Zen, explore gastronomy, tapping into the essence of taste, meet masters who create magic from simple ingredients, and gain access to places usually spoken of in whispers.

Understanding Japan through stories is impossible – it must be experienced from the inside. And to do that, you need to slow down. And then an hour of new experiences can feel like a year of vibrant events. Your world will be transformed, we promise.

MOMIJI OR HANAMI
To truly experience Japan, you need to see it at least twice: in spring and autumn. Hanami is falling in love with the tenderness of the cherry blossoms when spring arrives, while momiji is admiring the vibrant colors of autumn maples. And both are goosebump-inducing. Japan in spring and Japan in autumn are two different journeys that nonetheless complement each other.
We'll stay at Japan's finest hot springs hotel, enjoy a kaiseki dinner—Japanese haute cuisine with a million dishes—soak in an onsen, and fall asleep with a view of Mount Fuji from every room.

ITINERARY
Osaka (1) → Koyasan (2) → Nara (3) → Kyoto (4) → Fujikawaguchiko (5) → Tokyo (6)
Daily program
April 3–12, 2026 (9 nights/10 days)
November 21–30, 2026 (9 nights/10 days)
Day 1.
Konnichiwa, Japan! Evening Osaka. Sumo.
Hello, Land of the Rising Sun! Ready to immerse yourself in traditional culture, marvel at cutting-edge technology, try authentic sushi, drink matcha, and, of course, witness the magical colors of autumn maples and cherry blossoms? Then let's begin our journey!

We'll meet you at Osaka Airport, a city of nightlife and delicious food. We'll settle into a brand-new, luxurious 5-star hotel with spacious rooms and relax.

In the evening, a vibrant and moving performance awaits us – a traditional Japanese sport with a 1,500-year history.
We're going to have dinner and watch sumo, chat with wrestlers on the dohyo, and take souvenir photos.

Afterward, we'll stroll through Osaka's Times Square—the Dotonbori district, famous for its huge, bright neon signs, clubs, bars,
and restaurants. But the main thing today is to get to know each other, the organizers, and the Japanese philosophy of omotenashi, establish a routine,
and relax, because days filled with exciting experiences lie ahead.
Day 2.
Osaka. Sacred mountain. Night in a Buddhist monastery.
After a delicious breakfast, we'll visit Osaka's main samurai castle, boasting the most beautiful panorama of the city. Afterward, we'll sample gyoza, okonomiyaki, and takoyaki—don't ask me what all these strange words mean. Just trust us, it'll be delicious. And then we're off to add something unique, authentic, and meaningful to our experience of the country.

We eat air and bathe in the forest—both Japanese expressions perfectly suit the day we reach the sacred Mount Koyasan. It's like a journey back in time to centuries past, to the Japan of ancient books, steeped in legend.

There are over 100 temples here, and we'll be staying at one of them. We'll take a short hike along a sacred trail and explore the main sights, accompanied by a monk. The town resembles a large temple complex, with rock gardens, quiet streets, and the oldest forest cemetery where true samurai are buried.
We'll take an evening stroll with traditional lanterns through Okunoin, listen to stories about Japanese spirits, and meditate with the monks.

Life at the temple is similar to a ryokan: traditional tatami mats, inner gardens, exquisite craftsmanship... but here you'll see the monks' daily life and have the opportunity to attend morning prayers. It will be a day of peace and meditative contemplation.

Immerse yourself in the hot springs, close your eyes, listen to the sounds of the water... Relax...

We'll try our first traditional kaiseki dinner (vegetarian here), warm up in the onsen, crawl under huge down comforters on the tatami mats,
and fall asleep with thoughts of tomorrow.
Day 3.
Deer in Nara. Kyoto.
For those who want to get the most out of this place, we recommend attending the morning prayers held daily by monks.

After breakfast, we'll head to Japan's first ancient capital, Nara. We'll find ourselves in the realm of deer. Prepare to be heartbroken by the seemingly tame deer that roam the streets in huge numbers. Completely free, they come to local parks every day, knowing they'll greet tourists with coveted cookies in hand. This is how bartering happens: a treat in exchange for the cutest photos in your camera roll.

Walking through this city, we'll not only encounter deer on every corner but also have the opportunity to explore ancient temples listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites and learn a lot about Japanese culture. We'll also go see the enormous Buddha. Want to improve your karma?
Then you'll have a quest: crawl into his "nostril." The Japanese believe this ritual helps cleanse oneself and reset one's "debt" counter. We'll stop at the Isui-en landscape garden to admire the cherry blossoms and maple trees and have lunch at an authentic restaurant where they serve exquisite eel.

Afterward, we'll head to the city rightfully considered the heart and soul of Japan. Yes, we're going to Kyoto! A luxury Zen hotel awaits us with exceptional design, attention to detail, a fantastic pool, spa, and the most attentive staff. A stunning, atmospheric, and tranquil sense of perfection. We'll stay here for four nights.
Day 4.
Significant temples of Kyoto. Gion. Dinner with a geisha.
Today we'll spend the day exploring Kyoto with a professional Russian-speaking guide. After a hearty breakfast, we'll head to Kiyomizu-dera, the Temple of Pure Water, renowned for its breathtaking views of Kyoto. In the spring, during cherry blossom season, the temple is surrounded by a flurry of pink blossoms, and in the fall, the entire grounds are ablaze with red and orange autumn leaves. Afterward, we'll head to Kyoto's crown jewel, the Golden Pavilion. The building stands on the shore of a mirror-like lake. The glitter of the gold plates covering the walls sparkles in the sun and is reflected in the water's surface.

At lunch, we'll learn where the chefs at Michelin-starred restaurants source their freshest fish, followed by a seafood and delicious crab tasting on the street food street.

We'll explore the mysterious Gion and wander the ancient streets of Kyoto. We'll definitely visit the area featured in "Memoirs of a Geisha." Old minka, narrow streets, and girls in traditional Japanese attire. This is a place where even Japanese can experience the true essence of Japan.
We'll visit the most beautiful temples, the most picturesque gardens with huge colorful carp, and admire the cherry blossoms and scarlet maples to our hearts' content. We'll listen to our guide's stories and observe how the Japanese live. So, get ready for a busy and very interesting day.

And then... One of the most exciting moments you'll experience in Japan. We'll dine in the company of a real geisha! A geiko's job is to entertain guests with dancing and singing, as well as to keep up the conversation. Getting into a dinner with a real geisha isn't easy, and in some restaurants, it's impossible for a foreigner to enter without a Japanese escort. Offering you something unique and solving complex problems with beautiful results—that's what White Garnet is all about.
Day 5.
Kyoto. Kimono experience. Road of a thousand torii. Tea ceremony.
We're getting used to drinking matcha tea instead of cappuccino. Today, we'll fall in love with matcha to the point of ordering absolutely everything—ice cream, desserts, cookies. A private tea ceremony awaits us—we'll watch the master perform the mystery and whip up matcha ourselves until it foams. There's not a single unnecessary movement or object in a Japanese ceremony. Everything is carefully considered, weighed, and turned in the right direction. Beautiful.

And to fully immerse ourselves in the city's magic, we'll try on traditional kimonos: for a while, we'll be transported back in time and transformed into a Japanese beauty or gentleman. Putting on a kimono is like a mystery that can't be filmed: at least three Japanese women circle around you, one adjusting the bottom layer, the second adjusting the kimono, and the third preparing five layers of belts and corsets for the waist. Everything is tied exactly as shown in the movie. We put on geta and go for a walk and take photos. Passersby stare at us, cars pull up in front of us.
It's all reminiscent of that scene from "Memoirs of a Geisha" about the ability to stop a man in his tracks with a single glance. Just wink, and we'll invite a professional photographer to capture your most memorable shots.

We'll wander between the sacred torii at Fushimi Inari Shrine. You've probably seen photos of the thousands of orange gates winding like a tunnel. The tunnels form a 4-kilometer pilgrimage trail; you can climb to the top of the sacred mountain, look down on the city from above, and then descend along a virtually circular route. We'll be there at sunset to fully immerse ourselves in the atmosphere.

In the evening, we'll dine at a restaurant where you can grill that delicious wagyu yourself.
Day 6.
Bamboo Forest. Monkey Mountain. Temple of a Thousand Faces.
We'll watch the sunrise in a magical bamboo forest. The government protects this unique forest as "part of Japan's soundscape." Just imagine how caring the Japanese are, even protecting sounds!

Afterward, we'll climb Mount Iwatayama to observe the "snow monkeys," which can only be found in Japan.
We'll visit the Temple of a Thousand Faces, off-limits to tourists, where 1,200 handcrafted Rakan statues stand—each expressing its own unique emotions.

We'll finish the day with dinner at a famous crab restaurant, founded over half a century ago. Several hundred crab dishes are available, from soups to appetizers. Uma is guaranteed.
Day 7.
Fuji-san. Lake Kawaguchiko. Luxury ryokan with a view of Mount Fuji.
It's time to fly across Japan at the speed of sound – yes, of course, on the beautiful Shinkansen, the bullet train that reaches speeds of up to 300 km/h. Our journey in first class will be exceptionally pleasant and short. Just grab a traditional bento box for lunch and you'll find yourself in a new city. A time machine, no less.

Mountain Fuji is a symbol of Japan, recognizable throughout the world. We'll admire the beauty of Mount Fuji from the shores of Lake Kawaguchiko, from the observation deck at Chureito Pagoda, and, most importantly, from the window of our luxury hotel room. A visit to Japan is simply unthinkable without this unique hotel. After experiencing the personalized service here, it's hard to live in any of the world's most premium hotels.

A ryokan is a must-see for anyone visiting Japan. We'll spend the entire day in yukata robes, taking our time.
It's in places like these that Japan lifts the veil, offering you the chance to experience the practice of contemplating nature and complete relaxation so deeply cherished by the Japanese. Each room will feature a hot tub and one of the most picturesque views on the planet.

And in the evening, we'll invite you to a kaiseki dinner at a two-Michelin-starred restaurant—one of the finest restaurants in Japan. This culinary experience is worthy of its own admirable epithets. Dozens of tiny plates appear before you every minute. Sometimes it seems that a Japanese dinner is also a kind of contemplation—an artful still life and "culinary ikebana." Mount Fuji seems to watch over this continuous spectacle, guarding the rhythmic life that could one day become yours. Dinner is included in the price.
Day 8.
Tokyo. Museum and Secrets Day.
The traditional part of Japan ends, and we move
to ultra-modern Tokyo. We'll ascend to the observation deck of a 47-story skyscraper with views of the entire city. We'll visit the world's most famous dog, Hachiko, a symbol of loyalty. We'll get lost in the flow of people at the "world's busiest intersection." Did you know that during rush hour, more than 2,500 people pass through this intersection every two minutes? It's incredible!

We'll cross one of the most beautiful bridges in the Japanese capital and stroll along the waterfront of the artificial island of Odaiba. We'll embark on a journey into digital reality at the TeamLab museum. You'll feel like you're in your best dreams, and with the help of light, sound, and tactile sensations, you'll have a new, inspiring experience.
Tokyo's neon lights are shining brightly tonight! And the Italian restaurant is closing its doors to other customers. A private dinner and the fastest way to travel to Italy awaits us – believe me, Tokyo is where you'll find your most delicious Italian pasta.

A night at a luxurious 5-star hotel in Tokyo. The newest building features spacious, stylish rooms with a bathtub by the window and fantastic views of the city. Pajamas are brought to you before bed and carefully laid on the bed, and Moet is offered in the club lounge. It effortlessly combines style, Japanese hospitality, and exceptional service.
Day 9.
Tokyo. Omakase and sake tasting.
After a delicious breakfast, we'll explore this vibrant city with a professional guide. We'll visit the most impressive and oldest Buddhist temple, Senso-ji, and experience extraordinary peace within the grounds of the Meiji Shrine.

We know the best spots for admiring cherry blossoms and red maples, and you're sure to be a happy man after visiting them. These spots will change with the seasons.

And in the evening, a special gala dinner awaits us: we'll close the sushi bar for our group. How about that? An omakase set with a renowned chef just for us!

"Omakase" is a Japanese word that literally means "at your discretion": the guest leaves the choice of ingredients and dishes to the chef. Following the principle of "ichi-go ichi-e," our chef transforms each dinner into a unique ritual, where seasonality dictates the menu, and the morning catch becomes the evening's masterpiece.
There are no casual guests here. This is a place for those who listen to silence, appreciate nuances, and are ready to discover the essence of Japanese cuisine in its purest, most perfect form.

We'll dive headfirst into the world of sushi and begin to understand the different varieties of tuna, and the words o-toro, chu-toro, and akami will no longer raise questions. Want to prepare for the experience? Watch the film "Jiro Dreams of Sushi." And to accompany dinner, we'll taste the finest sake with a sake sommelier and listen to stories. This is a very delicate drink with a whole palette of flavors and aromas; it never tries to steal the spotlight, overshadow the dish, or show off its character... On the contrary, it subtly and carefully integrates into the combination.
Day10.
Sayonara, Japan!
Before your flight, you'll have time to continue exploring the city on your own.

Perhaps you'd like to ride the high-tech roller coasters at Tokyo Disneyland or visit the theme park of the legendary Hayao Miyazaki animation studio. Or perhaps you'd like to shop in the trendy Ginza district or the mega-electronics district of Akihabara. This street will transport you to Japan in the early 90s: SEGA, anime, robots, high-rise buildings, arcade machines, and the largest sex shops in the world.
It's impossible to imagine the Land of the Rising Sun without computer games and 18+ themes. Well, rest assured, we'll show you all the highlights!

So, our journey through a country that allows you to travel both the past and the future in a single day has come to an end. We mastered Zen in Kyoto, purified our karma in Nara, savored the beauty of Mount Fuji, and immersed ourselves in a brave new world in Tokyo... The journey home lies ahead, and we're not saying goodbye. See you on new adventures!
